Fresh Air, Long Walk.
Yesterday was sunny and in the 30s. We all have been feeling the need to be outside, get some fresh air, stretch our legs, and walk. With all of this thawing and freezing, most trails and paths are skating rinks, so not walkable for little people. So we decided to go for a walk and visit some birds, fish and reptiles. It was great for the boys -- we could walk awhile, then go inside and warm up before returning to the outdoors -- where the boys loved being able to wander and RUN!
We visited many of the volunteers who were there to talk, share, and show. We learned about things like cobras, wingspan, feathers, poisonous amphibians, snake skin, and turtles.
And, even though it was cold, it was busy and bustling, full of bundled kids and energetic families. It was nice to get out.

It's so nice to get outside after being indoors for so long. From the photos, it looks like a lot of fun.

The peacocks are royal!
It is really good to get out isn't it? After our week of illness we too were ready to run.
Yay! We went walking too. Great minds...;) Xxx
