Saturdays.

I love Saturday wanderings. I hate planning things in advance too much ... I know if we hype what we will be doing the boys will get overly excited and something will not work out - which tends to send spirited boys into a tailspin. So today was a good day. We wandered and did a few things the boys wanted to do, and surprised them with a few other places as well!

A few images from our morning::

Fun day!

Thanks for all the back advice - I started taking Arnica yesterday morning and went from being unable to even sit down without major pain at noon to being able to stand up and sit down and bend over without needing help! Still pretty sore and not completely mobile - but wow! Thanks.

That is so good to know about arnica!

I love your photos of Madison, one of my favorite cities ever.

There's some good advice here. I seem to forget too often to just let some activities be a surprise for my kids. That museum looks like such a fun place.

Sounds like a fun Saturday. We have been wanting to come down for the Farmers Market on the square -- but just haven't gotten to it this summer. Too busy, but with all of the veggies that are now ready for picking, we will have to come down soon.

If this is a repeat comment -- I apologize. I tried to leave a comment, but I'm not sure that it worked. Anyway...looks like a fun Saturday. We have been meaning to come down to go to the farmers market on the square and just haven't gotten to it this summer -- too busy! We will need to though now that all of the best veggies are getting ripe.

I sometimes use Traumeel, which has arnica in it, and I can't believe how well it works!

Thanks everyone. :)

Jodi - Do you find Traumeel locally? My back is VERY bad again and no appts were available until tuesday (argh).

Local folks - the pizza is Pizza Brutta on Monroe St. AWESOME pizza. Local, organic, fired oven crust. So good.

I think that pizza looks like a good reason to go all the way to Madison. Maybe even worth risking my gluten intolerence, pizza is the only thing I miss and that looks amazing. (Wall of sperm-lol!)
