Well done Dover! The squabs are...um...lovely!

Your plant doesn't look too good, but a good sacrifice to be sure.

What a great experience! Hels is caring for orphaned baby birds right now at our animal rescue institute. I really need to post about it!

Ah, so sweet. I had some friends in WI who had Lovey Dovies nest right outside their door. They'd come and go, including the kids...and the doves were nesting, breeding, hatching and growing there...it was WAY cool.

Enjoy!

Look at the little feather fluffs!
Do they peep a lot? There's nothing like seeing a momma bird feed her babies! So cute with thier little mouths open and waiting. What a fantastic experience for you all!

We had a dove's nest in a tree branch hanging right over the access road behind our house. I think they decided to relocate! So, this year, no chicks for us to peek at.
