april morning.

Courage is not the towering oak that sees storms come and go;
it is the fragile blossom that opens in the snow.
- Alice M. Swaim

After a week of record warmth and sunshine, this morning we wake to snow on the ground and swirling down from a gray sky.

Today feels like...April.

We get one day of sunshine. One!
For a week.
I know I've been complaining of this, but I'm just So Dang Tired of gray. kwim?
(Had some blue sky yesterday, but was only in the forties.)
sigh.
I'll keep hanging on, I guess.
hmmph. :)

We woke up to snow yesterday too here in Colorado, but it's now gone and the sun is out again. I'm hoping we're done with the snow now...

I dreaded looking out the window this morning - wanted to leave the shades drawn and just pretend it was late May. All we got here, though, were some flurries, but nothing that stuck. Saturday is supposed to be in the 70s again...ah, Spring!

No snow here yet, but it's cold. I wouldn't be surprised to see some soon.
