Photos of the Day.

Announced by all the trumpets of the sky, arrives the snow.

~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

The boys were so happy with the arrival of some real snow that they packed snowballs and shovels and cups and threw it into the air over and over, dancing under it as it fell back to earth.

I wish I had their enthusiasm when I was cleaning off the windshield at 7:30 in the morning. But I faintly remember this kind of childhood snow joy!
I'm glad they are feeling better:)

I am always happy to see the first snow come in the autumn and the last snow melt in the spring.

Funny isn't it?

Yours looks lovely!

piscesgrrl - oh yeah. We got a lot of ice yesterday and then a lot of snow overnight. And the big stuff is still to come!
