things i love.

I love how the prism on our windowsill
casts rays of light and shadow and rainbows
all over the living room throughout the day.

Happy April!!!!

That is fabulous! I was looking for a prism the other day. I thought it was something we just needed to have in the house. I have yet to find one that "speaks to me". Any suggestions?

We have an equilateral triangle prism from a science store. It is just sitting on our windowsill, and it reflects all over the whole room all day. I find the boys with shirts off standing in a rainbow on just about every sunny day. ;)

I do want some that hang in windows. I think that would be really sweet to have more of that! We recently saw a circular window rainbow prism that I think would look cool.

I do like the little one, since we can carry it around for things.

See that's where the challenge lies. I don't like stores. I guess I'm going to have to suck it up. ;P

Oh, you and I both. I hate shopping, crowds, stores, shopping, buying things in buildings, browsing, shopping... ;P

There is a nice science surplus in Milwaukee we stop by once or twice a year when we are over there but they also sell online. I prefer online, but sometimes you just have to dig through those surplus stores to find the good stuff!

Tiff - I love that we have been doing those handprints for years. I have had to move up to a bigger canvas size since they are both so big now! Going to be cool to have when they are older.
