a journey...

Today we went on a journey. The distance was not too far in miles, but we did traverse across many lands.

We visited grand cities,

arid deserts,

lush jungles.

We saw man-made marvels

and were awed by the staggering beauty of fragrant flowers.

We were tickled by the many mysteries of nature.

We were tired from our journey, but brought home many memories (and a whole list of things to google).

A perfect Sunday. Hope you all had a nice weekend!

How very cool! An exciting weekend for sure. Is that first photo also taken at Legoland? I'd never heard of a place before!

  3. All of the photos were taken today at "The Domes". It is a botanical garden which consists of 3 giant glass domes - arid, tropical, and flower. The flower dome has a train show every year...the theme this year is Legoland! The boys were particularly excited about that theme. ;)

  14. Mmmmm, I don't know how your climate (other than cold) is up there, but spending time inside there in that clean, clean air and warm, tropical temps and moisture sounds so lovely!
We have a shop called Cactus and Tropicals, and I love wandering through there in February - I always feel so renewed and refreshed!
