Tara - Oh yes, I think you are getting what we had over the weekend, although we got 1 foot, not two - wow! We have a 2 day break in the snow with some sunshine (the sun always shines when it is -8ยบ below zero!) and another big storm is coming tomorrow (you'll get it in a few days probably!). Crazy December!
This is the day that I want to hold onto forever, like it can be Groundhog Day (the movie). And, for me, the weather was perfect this year. All the snow and the bitter cold. Divine. It really captured the spirit of this holiday and the physicality of it, the science of it, perfectly.
I hope we have some sunshine peeking through today- we're at about 2 feet of snow now and it is still coming down!!
