I think this week I'm going to have to dish out some sap. You see, my sweet little boy is going to be turning five in a few days. FIVE! I don't know why five seems like a big birthday to me - perhaps it is leaving the wee life behind. No more baby or toddler or little person. This is moving into big kid. Footprints winding to here, and pointing in the next direction.
It is so amazing to see how he has grown from that super spunky baby and toddler to this smart, interesting, loving, dynamic (and yes, still spunky) kid. He is a sweet boy and I love him so much - I appreciate every day he has been in my life. *gulp* My little guy is turning FIVE!

I always think looking at pics of baby's is SO amazing, because right there, right before us is the EXACT replica of who they are going to be. Just different. So we realize they'll change and look different but we just don't know HOW. Wierd, huh? I was looking at my daughter from a certain angle the other day and she looked EXACTLY like she did as a 2 year old. And I remember thinking "I wonder what she'll look like when she's 10."
