so much.
Oh, this time of year is ... so much. So much beauty, so much change. So much to see, so much to balance. So much to look forward to, so much to get ready for. So much happiness, so much melancholy, so much sunshine, so much rain. Each season brings so much - we change our wardrobe, our activities, our day to day. Sometimes it is easy and sometimes it is...not so easy. So we tuck in, snuggle up, create traditions and rituals to help our passage to the next season go smoothly. To remind us, center us. We find comfort in remembering what it is that comes next, and soothe our bodies as they adjust to the light, the dark, the heat, the cold, the dry, the wet.
It's all so much. I love fall.

Beautiful words, and beautiful photos.
Hi, I love fall too, my favourite (short) season!! You take lots of nice pictures! Too bad the fall has passed without telling me here. Now winter had arrived instead.
this is my favorite season. cozy, tea, baking, fires, scarves. lovely photos! especially the last one!!
Your writing and photos have so much beauty. I hope you're surviving that big storm your area is getting. It's all over the news, even here in Seattle.
I love your words!!
Everything looks so fun!!! All those pumpkins!!! And I love those apple peelers, you just can't get them here and they are so, so pretty!!!!
Awesome, Denise! I had to share on Facebook :)
This is stunning and so moving, Denise. I know these feelings. Last year I felt them strongly, this year is different for me though.
I am so inspired by your photography, always.
Love your words. And your pictures are always so gorgeous. I love fall too but I know that winter is just around the corner which I am not so much a fan of.
BTW - can this wind go away soon? Does this happen here every fall?
You've done a marvelous job at capturing the season and all its nuances. xo!
Such a beautiful post. I remember that feeling from when I lived where it got cold and snowy in the winter. I'm sure it is amplified greatly by having kids. I love the first photo and the one of the swing. Gorgeous!
Really lovely post and photos. The bread looks delicious!
