corner view:: our breakfast table

I was excited to find that Jane at Spain Daily was hosting a weekly photography 'challenge'...there are so many people from all over the world participating that it is fascinating to look through all of the posts each week.

For our corner view from Madison, Wisconsin today - breakfast! Our breakfast meal varies widely, but today we were pretty American. I had fresh farm eggs over toast with a cup of jasmine green tea sweetened with local honey. I don't always eat a whole breakfast, but do usually have toast with green tea.

My husband loves oatmeal wheat toast with strawberry freezer jam we made last summer from strawberries we picked at a local farm ... mmmmm.

And the boys had a special treat today. Yesterday we made fresh whole wheat cinnamon rolls together, so this morning we warmed them in the oven and ... yum! The boys are in cinna-heaven.

What did you have for breakfast today?

Check out breakfast from around the world::

That looks fantastic! Yum! We make strawberry freezer jam every spring here as well. Our strawberry season starts in 2-3 weeks. Yay! It's so fascinating to see everyone's breakfast. I love it!

i'll have yours any time. looks gooood, even though i'm a coffee girl in the morning. tea is my evening treat. the strawberry jam sounds good though. i'd love to have enough strawberries to make jam. strawberries grow in the winter season here in israel and i planted some out in february. i hope they'll spread fast for next winter's harvest :)

trinsch-I was a coffee girl until very recently... Two pots of espresso in the mornings. Mmmm. Just 'quit' coffee less than two months ago, and so now am drinking green tea ALL day. :)

ok, i love cinnamon rolls so much, but i am too busy/lazy to make them that often. you'd think that with all the baking i do, they'd appear more. it's a treat we have when we're out and about.

cute kids, and cute rolls!

Love that first shot! The freezer jam sounds yummy, will definitely have to make some this year (hopefully with our own strawberries).

Those cinnamon rolls look so good, I can practically smell them thru the screen! Do you have the recipe? They'd be a lovely treat for my boys, what with the snow here today. I know you sympathize! :-)

Your photos are so beautiful and inspiring, so much light.
Breakfast is not my most inspired meal, we often have buckwheat crepes with egg and cheese inside just for energy to last the day (but very yummy). Ideally my breakfast is at 10am but I usually force myself to eat earlier so I can start my day.
