I think I only need one word. SUNSHINE!
After a few days of (very) cold & dark (again) we had sunshine today. Chilly but who cares.
We had to get OUT OUT OUT! Such big smiles on my boys. We needed that.
Tomorrow more rain - but we had a whole day of skin quenching spirit lifting smile inducing happiness giving energy infusing SUN.
OK. That is all I have to say. SUNSHINE!!!
.
woot!!
ReplyDeletewe're promised 70 tomorrow. can you believe it!?!
i'm demanding a refund if it's not.
Hooray! It's amazing what a little sun can do- such a great feeling.
ReplyDelete70!?!?!? Wow - I can't wait for some warmth. We have had sunshine but still pants/long sleeves/fleece weather. Kind of like late March/early April. ;) We are going to have 60 tomorrow, but rain. But that is ok. I saw neon hues on the trees today - I think we might get (ready?) LEAVES!!!! Gasp!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful how sunshine just makes us feel sooo good. We have had almost 2 weeks of warm sunny weather here, and it is cold and damp today. We were having to water our crops as it was so dry - and that is a very rate event here in the rainiest part of the country! Hope you get some good rays and spring leaves again soon. xxxx
ReplyDeleteWe've been soaking up some much needed sun here too! And it's so great even though we also have to wear several layers of clothes still :)
ReplyDeleteSunshine?! HOORAY!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased for you, so pleased to see those sun-happy faces! I'm imagining you soaked it all up, stored it like squirrels for the rainy day tomorrow :) And I hope more days like this are coming your way.
Thank you for these beautiful photos!
Yesterday was fantastic! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteWe really needed that sunshine yesterday! I'm really hoping the weather report was wrong for today...because I could use another day of warm sunshine. (although, rain is good for the morels!!!)
ReplyDeleteit was in the high 80s here yesterday!!! i know it's not nice to brag, but it sure was beautiful! sunshine does wonders for the soul!
ReplyDeleteYea!
ReplyDeleteThat's how we've felt these past few days:) Yesterday we sat out on the front porch sunning ourselves for an hour loving it!
Yay for sunshine!! We had some yesterday AND we hit the seventies. Then today was overcast, rainy and fifties. Still, I'm grateful for yesterday. It was a little glimpse of what's to come. :)
ReplyDelete"...skin quenching spirit lifting smile inducing happiness giving energy infusing SUN"
ReplyDeleteThat may be one of the most loveliest descriptions of a sunny day ever.
Love the smiles. Such relief to have sun on faces, even if there's not much warmth to go with it. *happy sigh*
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what sunshine does to the spirit?! We're having a wonderful spring over here, I think it's compensating for the very long and cold winters we had in the previous several years.
ReplyDeleteMy son has been bringing me bouquets of dandelions every day. A visiting friend showed & named all the wild edible flowers (just one time) & he remembered all the names & now he is bringing them in small bouquets... for salads.
ReplyDeleteI am going to show him what else we can do with dandelions. Thanks!
