"Oh the snow the beautiful snow filling the sky and earth below. Over the house tops and over the streets, over the heads of people you meet.
Dancing flirting skimming along. Oh the snow the beautiful snow how the flakes gather and laugh as they go. Whirling about in their maddening fun it plays in its glee with everyone.
Chasing laughing hurrying by it lights on the face and sparkles the eye. And even the dogs with a bark and a bound snap at the crystals that eddy around.
The town is alive and its heart in a glow to welcome the coming of beautiful snow."
Bon Hiver!
.
Yay!! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy for you. Did you get the wicked cold front, too? We had a high of 9 one day. :/ oof. :)
But yay for magic snow!!
Now that's some snow!!! Princess is hoping for a big snow storm. Nothing happening here though...but you never know!!
ReplyDeleteStephanie - Yep. Yesterday we could make tight pack snowballs, then today, just icy powder. Good for sledding, but wicked cold. Tonight wind chills are going to be 15 below zero. Brrrrrrrrrr. ;)
ReplyDeleteYay! We finally got some snow here in NE OH too. Layla cannot wait to make a snowman (we need a little more yet). These pics are amazing!
ReplyDeleteYou guys make snow look so much fun - but I know you must be freezing!!! Happy times!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your snow pics!
ReplyDeleteIt has been snowing here since early this morning - I am waiting for Owen to crawl out of bed and look out the window... he is going to be so excited!!
We just had our first snowfall of the year, too, this past weekend, with probably 3 to four inches. It's still a shock to my system to be out in 20 degree weather. We can't wait for more snow to stick so we can go sledding.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is positively beatific
