light.

Every day is an adventure.

Every outing is a parade.

I cherish every moment with these amazing people. They are so full of life, creativity, energy, light. Transit umbra, lux permanet.

  1. Heh, I adore these photos of the boys. And, I love it when parents (like you and me!) don't have a problem with their kids wearing whatever the heck that they want to when out in public. :)

  2. The blue lips make the outfit! Yep, this is a familiar site in my house, or out and about also. You have such amazing boys, Denise!

  3. Well said. Also, best ice cream shop on the planet! My kids are so drawn to the Blue Moon flavor, too. And we were just there with our girls in their Dorothy getups. Sweet pictures!

  4. Jodi & Amy - I knew you would both 'get it'. :)

Sarah - It is a great shop! It has become our favorite in-town spot - we always go when we are on the west side. That isn't blue moon, if you can believe it. It is the blue raspberry italian ice...and it dyes EVERYTHING blue for HOURS (teeth, tongue, faces, fingers). :)

love it!! i often find myself accompanied by a possum and a dark lord when i go out for ice cream...or a hot beverage, which is much more the case these days.

  8. My good friend came to my parents 50th anniversary party with a boy spiderman. Declan wore sweats. Gotta love when kids are allowed to be kids :-)

  11. Isn't it fun? My guys are both often in costume, but A rarely leaves the house without one anymore, and they are always changing. I love seeing how they make everyone smile, and how people of all ages, wherever we go, participate in whatever character/storyline they have going on that day. :)
