Photos of the Day...Saturdays.

We took a break this afternoon from our crafting, baking, cooking and other holiday busy-ness, and wandered a bit. Warm cider, cookies and a game of chess at a cozy cafe. Shopping in a small town (yarn store!). Watching snowboarders at a local ski hill (in preparation for their snowboarding class soon).

Ahhhh.

  3. We were in Madison yesterday! We were wondering about Tyrol Basin. We might just have to drag our skis over there some day for a long skiing trip.

  4. Lovely winter day, I much prefer sitting in a ski lodge rather than skiing down a hill.

  7. Astrid - We went to check it out, and it was almost all kids/teens - LOTS of young ones. The easy/green hill is right at the entrance near the restaurant, bathrooms, parking lot, etc.

Lisa Anne - that will be me. With my back, no skiing or snowboarding, just watching! :)

Tiff - they are *so* excited. They are getting one private lesson (G, A & Brice) and then we can go whenever. Fun!

Stephanie - you too. we are looking forward to tomorrow - lots of family goodness planned. :)
