beautiful and real! i love your corner view. i haven't been making corner view rounds well recently and i am amazed at the overlap of our lives! nicola http://whichname.blogspot.com
I love the peaceful and chaotic corners - all the photos are beautiful. I'm nodding my head at the Legos on the shelf; we have them too. Thanks for sharing your home today.
lovely corners!! love the knitting needles. YOU CARD YOUR OWN YARN!!! so very cool! unless I'm wrong and that's a dog brush and then I'm gonna laugh at myself!
I see that I'm not the only one with lego designs on every flat surface! :O)
jodi-yes! i am learning to handspin my own yarn! we have an angora rabbit (ms. hunka bianca), and i brush her daily with a very fine brush, and save the clean/nice fur from the brushings to card & spin with the big bag full of fur I will get when she sheds & i pluck/trim her in a few weeks. i have raw alpaca from a local farm to spin in with the angora--should be a really luxurious yarn. i've been practicing so i can make a nice even yarn and hopefully not ruin it all. ;P we've only had her 2 months, so it is all still learning for me!
i have lego designs and playmobil design everywhere. and just toys in general :) sometimes it gets to be too much, but mostly it's just - to me - a sign that this is a home for all of us.
your home looks lovely - a place for living and being together.
My projects are all hidden since I am trying to keep them a surprise until Christmas! Legos are a major theme in our corners too....they are everywhere!! Love the tea, ahh and warm fire~
thanks for the visit ... you have a beautiful home
