I love that they are best friends. Yes, they bicker and argue sometimes like any other siblings on the planet. But they also have a deep love for each other. They do everything together - play, explore, learn...They even prefer to share a room, so that they can stay close. Tonight as they finished reading a few books and got ready to climb into bed they gave each other a big huge hug and big huge kiss and said "I love you, good night!" Can't beat that.
They do totally look like such fun-loving good buddies in all the pictures you've taken! My girls are the same way. My husband I stand back and watch them sometimes and marvel at the fact that we **almost** thought of stopping at one! Now, of course, we can't imagine them without each other.
I've been waiting for this to happen with my two guys, and now it has! They are 2 1/2 and 4 1/2. Wherever they are in the house, they are usually about 3 feet apart, and hearing them giggling in the other room is about the sweetest music in the world. I wonder what it will be like for them when their little brother arrives in the next couple of weeks...
Love it! I enjoy watching my two boys grow closer every day. Everybody asked me while preg if I'd keep trying for a girl and secretly I was relieved that I was having two boys for just this reason. I have brothers and always wished for a sister.
Denise, this is the sweetest post! I know this doesn't happen with every group of siblings, I've seen it. I feel very lucky to have two children that call each other best friends too.
No, you can't beat that!! My heart fills with joy when I see my kids express their love for each other. Hope you are well!!! Have a great 4th!!!
