Photos of the Day.

Be like the flower, turn your face to the sun.
-- Kahlil Gibran

My husband moved my iPhoto library and the whole thing became corrupted...so, while he is restoring from back-up and putting it all back together I cannot access photos or get them off of my camera. So here is a picture from Sunday - I love the colors of the 7' tall sunflowers blooming in our yard, and how the birds and bees spend so much time on them!

  2. Beautiful, I spent yesterday morning taking photos of flowers and butterflies and bees around the farm, maybe I will post some. Jerome moved all my photos recently and we still haven't figured out to access them properly, at least it hasn't affected my most recent photos.

  3. That is a beautiful sunflower!
I love the color. I have a couple of seven footer also.
But they are just starting to get their heads. Every year I dry the sunflowers and put them on the science table at preschool. I also place a magnify glass and tweezers on the tray. The children love to pick out the seeds and examine the flower up close! I bring the seeds home for Sniffy! lol...

  10. Sharon - Yeah. He is a computer brain, but still things NEVER work the way they are supposed to according to the documentation. Ever. EVER. As of now I have lost photos since July 24. The day I first hurt my back. Hmmm. I'm going to wait to freak out though, hopefully they can be recovered! :)

  16. Ack! I was attempting to save some stuff from iPhoto onto a zip drive last month when my computer suddenly tried to save it all onto the desktop. My poor aging computer nearly died of shock. Took me ages to delete all that stuff off there, too. Ugh. I get palpitations just remembering it. Hope yours is easily fixed.
